The Election Commission, Nepal has announced that eligible citizens can register their names in the voter list until the end of Kartik 2082. According to the Commission, applicants can fill out the online voter registration form via https://applyvr.election.gov.npand visit any election office across the country to complete the photograph and biometric verification process.

In the Kathmandu Valley, biometric services are available at the District Election Office, Kathmandu (Minbhawan), District Election Office, Lalitpur (Jawalakhel), and District Election Office, Bhaktapur (Sallaghari, Sirjananagar).

How to correction voter ID in Voter list from Online

The Election Commission has provided a facility to correct errors in the voter list online. You can correct errors in the voter list until Kartik 30. You can do things like correcting errors online, moving the voter list, filing a complaint about being included in the voter list by giving false details, and removing a name from the list.

For this, first go to the Election Commission website. Then click on the option of Voter List Pre-Registration and Update and go to Name List Update. Now enter your mobile number and proceed with the OTP received on that number and click on New Request.

After clicking on New Request, enter your voter number and citizenship number or date of birth. Then select the schedule for correcting errors, moving the list, or what you want to do and proceed.

After doing this, the application form template will open and you will have to click on the pen icon on the right to correct it. If you need to correct the details, you must upload the citizenship, marriage certificate, or migration certificate to prove it. The size of the file to be uploaded in this way should not exceed 500KB.
